Just got together and not be on. Tried to call the product support, but it was locked. Closes at 7 and I called at 7:15 alarm clock. Try to go online for support. None of the canned questions answered my problem, so I wrote an e-mail, which I later learned, would take 2 days for a response. Why the excitement? The reset button was almost impossible to learn. This product does not speak street names, as advertised. The replacement had the same problem. The box and instructions it was clear the model XL-S, but the product was only ONE XL. . . . Too bad, because the price was right. Rating: 1 / 5
I have several GPS units – 2 Garmin, Magellan holding 2, and TomTom. This device is by far the worst I have ever used. The menu is unnatural, the screen layout is terrible, the colors are terrible (all combinations!), Bluetooth does not work with my iPhone, old map, the POIs were useless, that does not exist, to update on line was a nightmare! ! even if it is a physical form is not as good as many others. After a week of trying to make the most of it, I gave up. has come to go to Amazon and order the Magellan 4250 4250th arrived today and is very very very best exactly the same price. The only advantage that has is the ability of TomTom TomTom Magellan users created cast download. There may be some others, but I’m not in things Goofy. . . I prefer something that is easy to use and reliable. much better w / a Garmin (my other vehicle is equipped with a nuvi 200W – more expensive, but nice) or the Magellan 4250 (same price). TomTom is the dumping defective unit back to the market. My refurbished unit and died within 36 hours of receipt. Screen distorted and frozen. loading units, but were a little ‘juice when I get the right things instead of the cable. I can not imagine what “refurbished” with this unit. I have great success from Apple refurb TomTom, but apparently not with the same integrity had to operate. Do not be fooled into these non-purchase. Rating: 1 / 5
