Have you ever seen the scene in Office Space, where they go all gangster on the copy machine because it keeps fouling up? Thats GPS like this makes me feel. I have been a couple of people that is the life of a Tom Tom, very briefly, because a couple of times to warn the car enough to break them. I laughed because I had worked well these warnings. Sure enough, now I broke after less than three months after giving birth and I did not even fall. Since you do not buy the warranty, because money was tight, they are screwed. I recently moved back to the United States after leaving the army. My family moved to a new city in a new state. After a couple of times we thought we’d lost, a GPS is what we needed. We have a target of 140 at a good price and were immediately attracted. UP. . . . . . . . . . . I tried to update the GPS. There, the trouble began. The update of maps is not always time out and recharge the GPS, when you use the TomTom HOME. If you Google TomTom Map Update problems, then you will be surprised by the number of results. I read a lot of forums and wasted many hours on Internet forums and customer support TomTom. The technical support does not know how to help me. I tried everything under the sun. I probably spent 20 hours in order to update the map to find work, but without success. In short, we have a 20 minute drive home TomTom, but it has not, within four days since I tried to “upgrade” it worked. Do not buy this product! I take it to the store and buy a Garmin! The system came with a card pre-loaded, no more than many roads in my neigborhood, if you have over 2 years. I could not download the latest version of the map in spite of different operating systems of computers and Internet connections. The Customer Service Center recognized that there is a problem with the server, and offered to send me a slice, if the problem is not resolved within days. However, when I called, the representative told me that I had been misinformed, and I was sent a hard drive. I would have just tried to keep updating the map on the Internet. I returned the unit bought the model of a competitor, that I have no problems the day I updated. Warning, if you live in a new development. Rating: 1 / 5
