This GPS device is well worth the money. the thing i like best is that it finds me right away. my other device sometimes took me a mile on the road befor it found me.
Customer Review: Early failure, poor technical support
The Roadmate 1412 unit began to fail three months after purchase. It failed to recognize any street names when I attempted to enter a new destination address. Responses from both online and telephone technical support were unhelpful. It was impossible to get instructions or the form from Magellan required to permit returning the unit for repair. I finally had to return the unit to the store where it was purchased for a refund and pay a restocking fee.
